Mental Health Mallee
Mental Health Mallee (MHM) is a community initiative with a proactive approach to mental wellbeing.
MHM leads community programs and a local podcast that is designed to provide social connection; build resilience in the community; break mental health stigma; and assist in prevention and early intervention by raising awareness and inspiring hope of mental health recovery.
4 Week Mental Wellbeing Program (Free)
Our 4 Week Mental Wellbeing Program is a proactive approach to building good mental health. The tools we provide you with can be integrated into your schedule with the freedom to choose where you undertake the program. You will be guided by facilitators Jo Marie, Carlo Cirillo, and Andrea Dalton.

We run quarterly intakes and have made this program available online so this can be easily accessible from home to fit into your schedule, alongside opportunities to attend sessions in-person. You will have access to an online community to connect with others who are also focusing on their Mental Wellbeing over the four weeks.

“Participating in the Mental Wellbeing Program has been transformative for myself and our community leaders. The program offers an accessible and effective way to reduce stress and improve mental clarity. The videos are straightforward and easy to follow, making it simple for participants to integrate these practices into their daily routines. Witnessing the positive impact on my personal mental health has been rewarding." (Kelly Wandel, General Manager at Northern Mallee Leaders).

Mental Wellbeing Events
Mental Health Mallee host events and sessions with a focus on building Mental Wellbeing for individuals, groups, workplaces, organisations and communities.

“The VicHealth Panel Discussion was fun-packed with great speakers who inspired me to think outside the box.” (Gabrielle McDonald)
“I was inspired by what I can implement to emphasise mental health in the workplace and create greater connections with my colleagues. Understanding that the notion of “leaving your personal struggles at the door” is no longer an expected statement in the workplace. It is accepted that we are all human, with different struggles and hurdles to overcome.” (Nicolette Robson)
Mental Health Mallee Podcast
MHM Podcast will feature stories of local people with lived experience and stories of local organisations who are leading mental health initiatives of working in areas that contribute to good mental health. The MHM Podcast will be a hub of modern mental health and wellbeing conversations. We hope to build a better tomorrow by creating an open-source resource for wider audiences across the Northern Mallee Region.
